About

Dr. Miller has been teaching at Wright State since 1979, after completing his Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Kentucky, where he concentrated in control and optimization theory. He teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, with emphasis on subjects in applied mathematics and numerical computations. He has held Visiting Scientist positions at Wright Patterson Air Force Base working with groups in flight control systems and structural dynamics. He currently serves as Director of the Applied Mathematics M.S. degree program and the Associate Chair of the department.
