About

G. Thomas Sav was a Professor of Economics, Department of Economics, Raj Soin College of Business, Wright State University. He has been the Frederick A. White Distinguished Professor of Professional Service at Wright State University and has served as the Chair of the Department of Economics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from George Washington University.  In addition to his academic career, he has served as an economist with the U.S. Federal Government, including the National Institute of Technology and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and as an economist for Bechtel Engineering and the Center for Economic Research at Research Triangle Institute. His research publications include the economics of natural disasters, fiscal discrimination, electric power regulation, solar tax incentives, transitional employment programs, and efficiency and productivity analyses of higher education using stochastic cost analysis and data envelopment analysis.
