About

Dr. Towers is an Assistant Professor and the Associate Director for the Residency Program in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Wright State University.

Dr. Towers has been a fulltime faculty member of Wright State University since 2016 after retiring from military service at Wright Patterson Air Force Base which included a long affiliate relationship with the Department.  Dr. Towers is board certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. His research interests include urogynecology, pelvic pain, pelvic reconstructive surgery and urinary and fecal incontinence.

Dr. Towers serves as an advisor and mentor for resident and medical student research projects including vaginal surgical prep for prevention of surgical site infection, the effectiveness of surgical techniques for rectocele repair.

Dr. Towers has served as a Sub-Investigator for an industry sponsored clinical trial for preterm labor.
