Dr. Donnelly is a Professor of Family Medicine Education at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Donnelly has filled many roles in medical education throughout his career, including serving as the predoctoral director, family medicine clerkship director, fourth year preceptorship director and residency program associate director. He reached the rank of professor in 2011.

Dr. Donnelly’s research interests include primary and preventive care, coronary heart disease, diabetes, patient centered care, predoctoral education and evaluation, medical decision making, professionalism, and scholarship of synthesis.
