Dr. Kindig is an Assistant Professor in the Department Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Dr. Kindig has been a fulltime faculty member at Wright State University since 2017. Her research interests include addiction in pregnancy, opiate free pain control, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and pain control after a cesarean. She feels drawn to serve women struggling with opiate addiction during pregnancy and provides medication assisted therapy for these women through a behavioral health treatment facility in Lima, OH.

Dr. Kindig serves as an advisor and mentor for resident and medical student research projects including women who were treated for opiate addiction during pregnancy, opiate free recovery after cesarean delivery, and addiction in pregnancy recovery programs. She has served as a Sub-Investigator on industry sponsored clinical trials for fibroids, endometriosis, and female sterilization. She also has served as a Sub-Investigator on an investigator-initiated grant for polycystic ovarian syndrome.
