About

Dr. Farra’s research interests were in disaster training and simulation strategies. She was federally funded to study virtual reality simulation as a method to train workers to evacuate the neonatal intensive care unit. In addition, she had grant funding from the Association of Community Health Nurse Educators to study learning outcomes following participation in disaster training through the National Disaster Health Consortium.
