5mW Parallel-Connected Resonant-Tunnelling Diode Oscillator

Abstract

A novel oscillator using an array of 25 resonant-tunnelling diodes connected in parallel has delivered an output power of 5mW at 1·18 GHz. Details of the device design and the oscillator circuit are given.
