Abstract

<p> The &ldquo;Constitution of Medina&rdquo; refers to agreements the Prophet Muḥammad concluded between the <em> muh&amacr;jir&umacr;n </em> (emigrants; that is, Muslims from Mecca) and the <em> anṣ&amacr;r </em> (helpers; residents of Yathrib).</p>
