Excess molar volumes and excess molar enthalpies of [x{0.5CH3(CH2)k-2CH3 + 0.5CH3(CH2)l-2CH3} + (1 - x)CH3(CH2)m-2CH3] at the temperature 298.15 K

Abstract

Excess molar volumes and enthalpies have been measured at atmospheric pressure and T = 298.15 K for three-component mixtures. A pseudo- n -alkane of carbon number m was mixed with the n -alkane of carbon number m over the whole composition range. The value of m ranged from 7 to 14. The results show excellent agreement with the principle of congruence.
