Abstract
I am writing in response to the letter published in your January 2010 issue (“Evidence Outweighs Belief,” p. 5), which was critical of Dr. John Plunkett’s views on the various inconsistencies related to so-called shaken baby syndrome (SBS) (see article on Dr. Plunkett in the August 2009 issue, p. 22).* There are many physicians who, after serious consideration and research, are quite certain that SBS is invalid when applied to healthy children.
