As anyone knows who is tuned into the media or the health care system today, massive socioeconomic forces buffet the entire chain that pays for or works to deliver health care services: health care professional teams, biomedical researchers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, insurers, government, and social welfare agencies.
