Abstract

Integrative family and systems treatment (I-FAST) is a moderated common factors approach that seeks to provide a coherent and evidence-informed practice framework at the meta-level. Such an approach allows flexibility for agency and therapists to develop effective treatment that can integrate their existing expertise in their unique practice setting. I-FAST also provides a broad and flexible approach in service delivery that meets the realities and needs of daily practice in which they are constantly challenged to provide effective treatment to a wide range of client populations with diverse problems.
