North American primary care research group president's award

At the October 2007 annual meeting of the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the NAPCRG President's Award was presented to James Puffer, MD, and to the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The award was made “in recognition of their support of publishing family medicine research, through the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine ( JABFM ) and the Annals of Family Medicine .” Dr. Puffer is the Executive Editor of the JABFM and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the ABFM.
