Pay for Reporting to Pay for Performance

Each year the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) makes changes to the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), and the Electronic Prescribing (eRx) Programs that will affect practitioners who are paid under Medicare Part B. In addition, the Medicare Value-Based Modifier is on the horizon and will likely impact surgical practices. Interpreting all of the new guidelines can be tricky. This session will provide an overview of the programs, the impact of the programs on surgeons, and provide further information on how to navigate the programs, so your reimbursements are accurate.
