N2 - We present the performance characteristics of a new THz transceiver based on a quasi-sinusoidal pulsed source emitting primarily in the 200-300 GHz band. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) reaches 80 dB, and by an RF gating circuit increases by 11 dB.
