Abstract
This study examined second-year medical students’ attitude change toward mental illness during a psychopathology course and whether attitudes of third-year medical students toward mental illness change after direct exposure to the mentally ill during a psychiatry clerkship. Second-year students completed an attitudes survey toward mental illnesses at the beginning and end of their second-year psychopathology course.
