Abstract

Since the introduction of robotics, there has been a rapid adoption of this technology in a variety of surgical specialties. However, we have little data on the residents’ understanding of robotic surgery, their interest in developing robotic skills and integrating them into their practice after residency. Our study evaluates residents’ perception of robotic surgery and training, and the need for such curriculum during the residency programs.
