Abstract
The solubilities of N 2 , O 2 , CO, and CO 2 in cyclohexane were determined at atmospheric pressure in the range 283 to 313 K. The solubility, Gibbs energy, enthalpy, and entropy of solution for 1 atm partial pressure of gas and 298.15 K were calculated from the experimental results. These values were compared with results calculated by use of the scaled particle theory.
